Taken on different days these shots of sunrises are from the East Creek and the sandy edge of the Peconic Bay. Both sunsets are looking WNW over the Long Island Sound from the end of Depot Lane.

Absolutely gorgeous... particularly the third photo!
The amazing streaks lighting up the clouds on the sunrise pictures call to mind the lines from Shakespeare's Friar Lawrence in Romeo and Juliet: "The grey-eyed morn smiles on the frowning night, check'ring the eastern clouds with streaks of light..."
