Two Best Diners
Two diners stand out on the North Fork; the Cutchogue Diner with fantastic breakfasts, honey fried chicken dinner and home made pies. Spicy's Bar-B-Que in Riverhead is great for chicken, ribs, corn bread and collard greens.
Greenport Dry Dock & Trawlers
Last year after Thanksgiving dinner, I took my brother-in-law Bernard, an excellent photographer, to the Greenport shipyard to crawl around and get some shots while we worked off the more than adequate meal. I enjoy shooting the shooter and have many pictures of Bernard hard at it.
