Stalks and Grasses

Sang Lee Farms located on the North Road, CR 48, in Cutchogue is our source for the very best in organic produce, baby bok choy, salad greens with edible flower petals, purple carrots, the freshest garlic and many other wonderful exotic vegetables,  soups, salad dressings, breads...  you get the idea.  Sang Lee Farms have an online store if you'd like to give their produce a try.  The grasses (weeds) below caught my eye.

Marratooka Point

This next series was taken on Marratooka Point which is a cape on the Great Peconic Bay.  These beaches and many others in the area are good nesting grounds for the endangered Piping Plover.

New Suffolk

New Suffolk is a hamlet within the town of Southold.  The population is under 400 yet it has it's own Post Office and zip code.  Many of the homes are historic and picturesque.  It nearly always seems to be sunny and quiet and a most wonderful place for children.  My father-in-law and his brothers spent many a summer learning to swim, fish and handle a boat here and I have done the same.
