All are serene and lovely, but I'm always partial to the softness fog and mist brings...

Truly beautiful sky photos. You have a lot more beauty where you live as to where I am. Once in awhile, nature provides us with a lovely, heavenly view. So nice to have you visit my post. You are welcomed anytime as I do appreciate and enjoy comments.

Thanks for visiting my blog - am paying you a return call and love the photographs of Long Island. I was in NY earlier this year - loved it. Went to Rhode Island but not Longisland - it looks lovely countryside. Are you going to join us on Inspiration Wednesday - your photos suggest you have been inspired by a photographer somewhere along the line. Do hope so. Have also put you on my blog list. Besr wishes.

A beautiful series of pictures, nature at its best. Love the quality of the misty soft picture, a beautiful morning starts to emerge, like slipping out of a cocoon.

Hi,

I found your blog after doing a search of leading blogs covering activities in Tri-State area. I'm working with the New York State Department of Transportation helping to get the word out about 511 New York, a new telephone and Web service that provides dynamic traffic, transit, and weather condition information in the Tri-State area.

I saw that you post a lot of pictures of the outdoors, and I thought your readers might be interested in this new service. 511NY posts weather updates for any activity.

You just call “511” (the call is free) or go to the Web site www.511NY.org to get updates. The system is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

We’ve also just launched 12 Twitter feeds covering individual regions and 9 feeds covering NYC subway lines. Long Island, for example, has its own Twitter feed.

You can access these individual feeds at http://twitter.511ny.org/

In addition to the traffic, transit and weather updates, the 511NY site also offers a transit trip planner spanning multiple service providers with information on schedules, routes, fares and park-and-ride lots; carpool, vanpool and ride-share referrals; bicycling information and more.

If you’d like more information please let us know.

Thanks so much.

I like the complimentary red/green colors with the beautiful blue sky. Is it a red barn or house built like a barn?
