I wish I had this kind of courage. Great work. You have so many scenes that will work this way. Do you use a tripod or get away with hand-held shots?

I used a tripod firmly placed and set so that only lateral movement could happen and squeezed the shutter button slowly and deliberately for each shot while doing my best not to breathe. In the meantime the wind was doing two things, buffeting me and the camera and making ripples on the water that would not match up later in "stitch mode". If I'd been shooting mountains or fixed scenery the stitching might not have been as apparent.
