Scenes From a Graying Day

Walking outside under a clear blue sky with lots of sunshine I can't help but think, "what a beautiful day"!  A graying day is a beautiful day too though, and comes with it's own rewards especially when taking photographs. There is no glare to fight, no sharp deep shadows to reckon with and very light to white things simply "pop" in this atmosphere. Often times an object will take on a whole new presence and suddenly star in a scene with no competition from a graying backdrop. For the same reasons I'm happy with my blog background color which lets each photo say what it wants to say with out interference.
